David Hasselhoff is also well known for his singing career.  His 1985 album "Night Rocker," was a smash success after the Knight Rider episode titled "Let it be Me," was written to focus on his singing talent.

More recently Hasselhoff has been filming music videos, such as the one pictured below titled "Everybody Sunshine."  In this refreshingly clever and original video, Hasselhoff  and adorable youngster counterpart get sucked into the TV set, where they sing and dance with many other children representing a variety of cultures, while phrases like "vision," "unity," and "around the world," flash across the screen.

David Hasselhoff's most important contribution however, was in 1989 when he single-handedly crumbled the Berlin Wall by uniting the people in song.

That year Hasselhoff had sung his rendition of the tune
"Looking for Freedom," to millions of German fans at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin--which moved people on either side of the wall and undoubtedly triggered its destruction.

"I find it a bit sad that there is no photo of me hanging on the walls in the Berlin Museum at Check-Point Charlie," says Hasselhoff, complaining to museum curators about the absence of his handsome face amongst the memorabilia. Yes, we think that sucks too!

Write to the Checkpoint Charlie museum and demand that they include a photo of David Hasselhoff as the person responsible for the fall of the Berlin Wall!!

Hasselhoffisms:

"I'm good-looking, and I make a lot of money."

"There are many dying children out there whose last wish is to meet me."

"I'm six foot four, an all-American guy, and handsome and talented as well!"

"Before long, I'll have my own channel -- I'll be like Barney."
